Aces Page
Our
first Project Aces experience was a huge success. This was
the first year our school took part in the global (50 states
and 50 countries) exercise class called Project ACES. Morin Heights Elementary used its annual skip-a
thon to participate in ACES. Over 200 students skipped for
a total of 24 minutes per team and all 5 teams skipped for
over 2 hours. Our annual skipathon is also our school fundraiser,
whereby funds raised go directly to the student activity fund.
This activity fund is responsible for the purchase of such
items like snowshoes, crash mats etc. Many thanks to our parent
volunteers without whom this event won't have run so smoothly.....please
