13th Shawn Allarie
Memorial Cup.....June 2003
On June 2nd, grades
4-5-6 participated in the annual Shawn Allarie Memorial Cup
to honor the memory of our former student who passed away
in 1989. This day is a fun filled day of friendly soccer,
a soccer Shawn loved to play in gym class. Eight teams took
to the 2 pitches and the final game was between the White
team from Division "A" and the Red Team from Division
"B". The two teams showed us some outstanding soccer
but the game ended in 2-2- tie, so off to a shoot out we went.
The white team put up a good fight but the Red team squeaked
out a narrow victory by winning the shootout 3-2. Congratulations
to the Red Team!
