Sugaring Off with Mr. MacLaurin

The students of Kindergarten and Grade 6 had a real sweet treat. They were invited to Mr.Maclaurin’s sugar shack. The sap was running and we went into the woods to help collect it. We learned about boiling the sap to make the syrup from Mr. Miller, ‘The Boilmaster.’ The visit finished with a sticky treat of taffy on snow. Thank You Mr.Maclaurin.
