National School Run
Day Participants

The Terry Fox National School Run Day (NSRD) allows millions of
students across Canada to join together in an inspirational nation-wide
day of fundraising for cancer research.
There is a special feeling in schools across Canada knowing that
they join together in spirit with fellow Terry Foxers in communities
as geographically distant as Cape Spear, Newfoundland, Victoria,
British Columbia and Grise Fiord, Nunavut. Our students know, just
like Terry did in 1980, that distance is no impediment when you
have the will to make a difference in the lives of our family, friends
and neighbours.
As a fundraiser, Terry was an innovator, providing millions of Canadians
with the opportunity to contribute to a cause in a multitude of
ways. He believed in taking himself to the limit for the cause,
and it is for this reason that we ask our students to make the best
effort they can to fundraise.
