Morin Heights Rocks!

With the help of geologist, Venetia,
We spent the day discovering the world of rocks.

She brought a wide variety of her rocks and minerals for a show and tell at school, also helping us identify rocks we had brought in.
Then we worked on testing and classifying rocks.

Later we took our new knowledge into the village to test out our hypotheses on where marble and plutonic igneous rocks would be found.

We had a great learning day!
